This is going to be a big granola production weekend.
Tomorrow I decided that I will wake up early to get on top of the baking and also to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade of course! Baking granola and watching the parade... what could be better on a holiday weekend?
We are working on the "Holiday Blend" right now. It is the pumpkin spice flavor I mentioned in a previous post. We also have been bagging it and labeling it all.
Today we needed to make a run to Trader Joe's to pick up a few ingredients. Unfortunately, they were out of Grade B maple syrup, but have no fear! They had Grace A Dark Amber, which works well also! We also may have taken the last of their pumpkin pie spice which was in the very very back of the spices.
Anyway, we are on a good track with the baking and are just baking awayyyyyyyyyy.
If we stay on track, we should be done baking it all by this weekend. That is a good thing, because next weekend is the art fair! Wow, that came fast.
Have a great Thanksgiving, eat some turkey, have some fun!

Sounds yummy, Emma. I know your mom from our Leadership program...you were only 6 then, but she talked about you so much (only good things of course :)) that we all felt like we knew you too. And here you are, a sophomore! Hope to meet you someday soon.
